    Today’s story comes from Denver writer and comedian, Byron Graham. He told this story about his brother locking him in a cabinet which he describes as “about the size of a child’s coffin” on 18 October 2017 at Buntport Theater in Denver, Colorado. The theme of the evening was “In the Dark.”

    Alright, one major US holiday down and we’re on the steep slide to the end of the year. For those of you out there feeling a post-Black Friday surge in your minimalist tendencies, here’s a story from long-time friend and first time storyteller Carlos Madrid. His story was recorded live on 20 September 2017 at Buntport Theater in Denver, CO. The theme of the evening was “Space.”

    We have only two more live shows left in 2017 on 12 December in San Diego and 20 December in Denver. The theme of those shows will be “Chance.” We will also be announcing our themes for 2018 in the coming weeks, so please keep an eye on our website for more information.

    The Narrators is going to the Denver Museum of Nature & Science! Join us on Saturday, 4 November, for a special FREE all-ages show inside the Botswana diorama hall—IN FRONT OF WARTHOGS. This event will feature true stories by some of our favorite storytellers—Ellen K Graham, Kelly Shortandqueer, Mitch Slevc, Mathiba Kgopa, and Sydney Crain—with your host, Ron S. Doyle. Our performance is part of DioramART, a special program during Night at the Museums. Admission to the museum is free from 5-10pm and we’ll be sharing the diorama halls with other incredible artists, including Ian Cooke,Conscious CreativesLife/Art Dance Ensemble, and #WeAreDenver.
