Our July show is extremely nigh, and we’ve crafted a great lineup of storytellers to tickle your storybones with tales about “The Open Road”. Per usual, we’ll kick things off at 8pm at The Deer pile (above City O’ City). Here’s the scoop:
The Nix Bros. – These guys are doing amazing work and have helped to bring well-deserved attention to Denver film-making. Their work with The Grawlix is a good place to sink your teeth if you ain’t tasted ’em yet.
Jordan Doll – Jordan is one of Denver’s finest comedians, and we are thrilled to have him back on the show.
Theresa Mercado – It’d be difficult to cram all of Theresa’s activities into a short quip, so we’ll just tell you to watch her on Late Night Denver and visit her curated film series Cruel Summer at Crash 45.
Ed Ward – Ed has been a friend of the show since we started, has been a guest several times, and hosts our sister storytelling show Stories Stories Bring YOUR Stories.
Tom Murphy – Anyone who has ever read more than ten words about Denver music knows this man’s work. He is as prolific as he is insightful about Denver music history.
Tim Rynders – Tim plays bass for one of Denver’s best and hardest working bands, The Knew. If you haven’t seen them live, your life is empty and devoid of joy. Please fix that.
Cassandra Schoon – Cassie is a damn fine writer, and delighted our October audience with a story about a disgusting car ride. We’re excited to hear what she has crafted for her return.
Allison Downey – Allison is visiting our fair state from the northern climes of Michigan, where she hosts a storytelling program on NPR.
Your hosts Robert Rutherford and Andrew Orvedahl will be on hand to provide fresh B.O. and high fives for summah.
See you wild things there.
