78: David Latham, “Use Once and Destroy”

Today’s story comes to you from David Latham, who is the host of a storytelling show in San Diego called Long Story Short, an open mic where storytellers have 5 minutes to tell a story without notes based on a monthly theme. Long Story Short is one offering from a stellar literary organization in San Diego called So Say We All, which offers San Diegans a wide breadth of writing workshops, performances, and publishing outlets.

You can see David and Long Story Short in action this Saturday night, October 17, at the Ink Spot. The theme for the evening will be “Things That Go Bump.”
Join The Narrators Denver next Wednesday, 21 October at Buntport Theater for more stories on the theme “CREEPS!”
AND! Stay tuned for more details on The Narrators San Diego’s special San Diego Beer Week show, happening Tuesday, 10 November at Tiger! Tiger! Tavern.

Our theme music is by our friend Whalehawk (aka the Grammy-nominated musician Jake Sanders).
