    Episode 173: Today’s story comes from investigative journalist and Westword staff writer Chris Walker. Back in 2012, Chris and a fellow journalist embarked on a 16,000-mile bicycle ride from France to China, documenting their travels along the way. This story recounts one small leg of that trip, where Chris and his companion stumbled upon a daring mountain rescue in the tiny Eurasian country of Georgia. Chris originally told his story on 20 January 2016 at Buntport Theater in Denver, Colorado. The theme of the evening was “Promise.”

    Farewell to The Narrators San Diego

    SOME BIG NEWS: The Narrators San Diego has come to an end. We want to give a huge heartfelt thanks to everyone who shared stories and attended the show over the last three years.

    For those of you who were planning to attend the show tomorrow night, there won’t be one— but the talented folks behind The Narrators SD are launching a new show called The Butterfly that will keep storytelling alive every 2nd Tuesday at Tiger!Tiger! Their first show will take place on Tuesday, 12 February at 8pm.
