Part one of our special kick-off show for “Lived/Re-lived” features stories by poet Ken Arkind, whose new book of poetry, ‘Coyotes” is being released next week (party info here), and first-time guest Dori Samadzai-Bonner. These stories were recorded at The Deer Pile on February 20, 2014 by our main man Ron Doyle.

If you don’t know yet, The Narrators collaborated on a theatrical production with Off-Center at the Jones Theater. It’s called Lived/Re-lived and features three of our best storytellers: Jeff Campbell, Timmi Lasley, and Kelly Shortandqueer telling stories that will be reinterpreted on stage with the help of aerial ballet troupes, puppeteers, musicians, and filmmakers. The show will run on three dates: March 7th, 14th, and 21st, 2014.  Tickets are now on sale. Snatch ’em up and we’ll see you there.

Our March show at the Deer Pile will take place on Thursday the 20th and our theme will be “Slapstick!”
