Today’s story comes from Chicago-based stand-up comic Kellye Howard. Her story was recorded live on 16 August 2017 at Buntport Theater in Denver, CO. The theme of the evening was “Crossing Over.”

I just want to give a quick shout-out to The Narrators San Diego, which celebrated its second anniversary this week. I’m so proud of my friends Robert Rutherford and Mary Robertson and the special thing they’ve created there. Bravo to them and Tiger!Tiger! Tavern and all the storytellers that make that show great. Our next show in Denver will take place on Wednesday, 20 September at Buntport Theater. The theme will be “Space.” I will see you there!  —Ron
